Personally, I can wait to get the vaccine. I have no problem with trusting vaccines or doctors or science, but I have also seen pharmaceutical companies put profits over lives, seen our government perform unethical experiments on vulnerable people, seen doctors accepting kickbacks to prescribe dangerous addictive drugs to patients who don need them, seen doctors keep their medical license after telling their patients demon sperm and alien DNA caused their illness, and I seen scientists paid off by companies to publish studies telling the public that deadly products are safe. I don blame anyone for not having total faith in these institutions..
Hitler was an almost comical figure. Just like Trump. Even Mussolini called Hitler a mad little clown. Given that you can check corona data at every ward level, it is also impossible to fudge data, not to mention create a downwards curve that is moving in the same direction in virtually every corner of India. In terms of testing, while a case might be made for a lot of Indians not getting tested, it is also true that random testing has increased in the last few months. Domestic flyers into Maharashtra from many states for instance, have to get a Covid test done irrespective of symptoms.
Sick people can’t farm. Sick people can’t sell goods.”Last January’s seven magnitude earthquake compounded the crisis. The tremor damaged 60 percent of the country’s health facilities and destroyed four hospitals in the capital. Muscle atrophy is a feature of many chronic diseases and contributes to both morbidity and mortality, emphasising the importance of understanding the molecular pathways involved. Zinc finger protein 216 (ZNF216) is an atrogene, a gene which is up regulated during and directly mediates skeletal muscle atrophy, and encodes the ubiquitin (Ub) receptor protein ZNF216. Herein it is demonstrated that ZNF216 mRNA levels increase in the extensor digitorum longus (EDL) in a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) infusion rat model of muscle atrophy, relative to saline control.
I know you see the risks of hourly as well. Therefore, when customers pay by the mile/weight, how many OTA members will lead the way and provide hourly rates to their drivers and equipment? Who’s willing to pick up the productivity risks? I’m assuming NOT OTA members! However, when hourly rates come in they will have little choice! Then again, without the change in pay structure, cost of productivity loss and additional risks will be entirely absorbed by the driver (maybe that’s what OTA members / FMCSA have in mind). Trucking companies will escalate their abuse of their workforce.
