In short, my experience has been that diverse folks have been clearly more successful and made better applicants. I sure I been very lucky in having that picture be so clear, but it really makes me think that switching up hiring practices to force hiring managers to look at diversity more closely will result in having a stronger team anyway. Lowering standards my ass.
My favorite feature of Home on the First was Chat Heads, the chat multi tasking system. Incoming Facebook Messages and SMS appear as little bubbles of friends faces that persistently float over the top of whatever app you using as you navigate around the phone. Tap one and your message thread drops down in an overlay on top of your current screen, allowing you to look at something like a Map or Yelp, and then quickly open a conversation and relay information you just learned, bouncing back and forth without having to open and close the apps like with standard on iOS and Android..
The riot that would occur could have devastating consequences. But if the police in Vancouver were able to hand out tickets, and make arrests days after the riots of 2011, based on social media, and face recognition software, surely our law enforcement agencies can make their way through the crowds with their fancy new body cams, and identify those who are disobeying the law. Let’s not forget, it is not just the organizers that are breaking the law, they are all showing contempt for the law, and our society in general.

BURGLARY, AYLESHIRE DRIVE: The May 3 arrest of a suspected burglar may have set off the lockdown of two schools in Solon, in what officials believe was an overreaction to seeing the Bedford man, 19, being taken into custody at gunpoint. It all started about noon when a woman reported someone had been ringing the front doorbell, then came in through the attached garage and yelled if anyone was home. The resident didn answer, but called her husband to see if anyone was supposed to be there, then 9 1 1, which the intruder apparently overheard, then fled in his car.
